Research Interests
Jessica Alyas, an MS student from Kinnaird College, worked on the development of cell-based models to characterize histone H2A cancer variants. She identified recurrent H2A mutations associated with cancer and established overexpression systems to analyze their biological effects. Her research focused on understanding the role of these variants in chromatin remodeling and tumor development.
