Shazel Ilyas, a current MS student, is investigating the transcriptional role of CtIP (RBBP8) in replication stress using RNA-seq data. Her research involves analyzing CtIP knockdown samples to assess changes in gene expression and isoform switching under stress conditions. By exploring how CtIP influences transcriptional programs during replication stress, her work aims to uncover its role in genome stability and DNA repair regulation.
